Biological Research on the Brain (BRB) is an independent multidisciplinary research organization that works for underprivileged and minority students and develops a research culture in Bangladesh. It was founded on January 13, 2024, by Md. Tarikul Islam and Md. Aktaruzzaman.
At BRB, our mission is to unlock the mysteries of biology and beyond through cutting-edge research and interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of computational neuroscience, behavioral neuroscience, molecular neuroscience, molecular biology, genomics, proteomics, pharmacology, biochemistry, microbiology, bioinformatics, computational chemistry, structural biology, machine learning, and data science.
By combining expertise from diverse scientific disciplines, we strive to unravel the complexities of biological systems at every level, from molecules to behavior. Our team of researchers and innovators works tirelessly to pioneer new methodologies, develop innovative technologies, and generate novel insights that advance our understanding of biology and the intricate functions of organisms.
We aim to decipher the fundamental mechanisms underlying neurological disorders, cognitive processes, cellular interactions, new therapeutic targets, diagnostic tools, and interventions to improve human health and well-being through rigorous experimentation, computational modeling, and data analysis by leveraging state-of-the-art techniques and emerging technologies.
At BRB, we believe that collaboration is key to scientific progress. We foster a dynamic and inclusive research environment where creativity flourishes, ideas are shared freely, and partnerships are forged across disciplines and institutions. Together, we strive to make groundbreaking discoveries that shape the future of neuroscience and biology, paving the way for new treatments, technologies, and insights that benefit society as a whole.
Join us in our quest to unravel the mysteries of the brain and unlock the secrets of life itself. Together, we can light the path toward a brighter, healthier future for all.
