I am Mohammad Jashim Uddin, a passionate academician and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST). My journey in the realm of pharmaceutical sciences commenced with a remarkable achievement – securing the first position and a first-class degree in my M.S. in Pharmaceutical Science from the prestigious Jahangirnagar University in 2002. With over 17 years of professional experience, I have worked with Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a leading pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. From 2005 to 2012, I served as a Senior Officer and Assistant Manager in their Research and Development Department, honing my skills in analytical method development, formulation development for various novel dosage forms, including inhalation aerosols, solid and liquid orals, ophthalmics, and parenterals. At JUST, I share my wealth of knowledge by teaching courses like Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Technology, and Advanced Formulation Development. I take immense pride in mentoring the next generation of pharmacists, having supervised over 30 B.Pharm project students and 12 M.Pharm thesis students, guiding them through their research endeavors. My research interests are diverse, spanning solubility enhancement techniques, nanoformulations, phytopharmaceuticals, and pharmacological evaluations. I have contributed significantly to the scientific community through my publications, with over 25 research articles featured in reputed international journals. Committed to continuous learning, I have attended several training programs and workshops on teaching methodologies, productivity, and pharmaceutical product development. I am a registered pharmacist and an active member of the Pharmacy Graduates' Association of Bangladesh, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the pharmaceutical community. I am driven by a passion for imparting knowledge and advancing the frontiers of pharmaceutical research. My goal is to nurture the next generation of pharmacists and contribute to the development of innovative drug delivery systems and therapeutic interventions that improve human health and well-being.
